Economics is a branch of social science deals with the study and analysis of how people use and react to resources, wealth, money, goods and services. Economics also analyzes and describes production, distribution, consumption of goods and services. 'Economics' comes from two Greek words, 'eco' meaning home and 'nomos' meaning accounts. Mathematics is the abstract science of number, quantity, and space, and if it is applied to other disciplines such as physics and engineering then it is called as applied mathematics. Bachelor of Arts or B.A. in Economics and Mathematics is a three year double main graduate course with six semesters of study. Students can develop broad and balanced knowledge and understanding of various aspects of both economics and mathematics. The course also helps students to develop analytical, judgmental, presentation and communication skills.
