English is first spoken in early medieval England and it is a West Germanic language of the Indo-European language family. It became the leading language of international discourse in the 21st century. English is the dominant language of United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Ireland, New Zealand and many more countries. Malayalam is the official language of Kerala, the southern state of India. It is a powerful Dravidian language with fifty six letters. Bachelor of Arts or B.A. in English and Malayalam Literature is a six semester double main program with three years of study designed to teach English and Malayalam Literature simultaneously. This program teaches the social, historical and cultural aspects of both the languages and also provides knowledge in English and Malayalam Grammar, Poetry, Drama, Novels, and Communication etc.
