Geography is the study of earth and human relation with the earth. Geography teaches both the earth’s physical properties and human societies. Geography is classified into two branches i.e. human geography and physical geography. Human geography is the study of people and their communities, cultures, economies, and interactions with their environment. Whereas physical geography deals with the study of processes and patterns in the natural environment like the atmosphere, hydrosphere, biosphere and geosphere. Bachelor of Arts or B.A. in Geography is a three year graduate program designed to teach the various aspects of geography. This six semester graduate program provides knowledge in physical geography topics like earth’s surface and structure, geographical and climatic features and also teaches human geography topics.
