Sanskrit is one of the oldest languages belonging to the Indo-Aryan branch of the Indo-European languages and this classical language is one of the twenty two official languages of India. Information Technology (IT) is the storing, retrieving, transmitting or manipulating data or information with the use of computer or other digital devices. Bachelor of Arts or B.A. in Sanskrit and Information Technology is a three year graduate course with six semesters of study. This B.A. curriculum is designed to teach the various aspects of Sanskrit Language and Literature, History of Sanskrit Language, cultural and social aspects of Sanskrit. And also the program helps students to acquire knowledge in Information Technology topics like software development, computer programming, website development etc.
