Sanskrit is one of the oldest languages belonging to the Indo-Aryan branch of the Indo-European languages and this classical language is one of the twenty two official languages of India. Bachelor of Arts or B.A. in Sanskrit - Nyaya is a three year graduate program in Sanskrit specialized in nyaya. Nyaya in Sanskrit literally means justice, rules, method or judgment and it is one of the six systems of Indian philosophy. Nyaya philosophy is important for its analysis of logic and epistemology. This course is systematically designed to develop good knowledge and awareness in nyaya philosophy and also can acquire knowledge in the theory of logic, methodology and its treatises on epistemology of nyaya philosophy.
