Description :

This three-year graduation course with six semesters, mainly studies on the teachings of Vedanta. Sanskrit is one of the oldest languages belonging to the Indo-Aryan branch of the Indo-European languages and this classical language is one of the twenty two official languages of India. The aim of the course is to teach Sanskrit language and literature, and also to understand the cultural and social aspects of Sanskrit language and literature. Vedanta is one of the ancient spiritual philosophies in India, which literally means “end of the Vedas”. Simply, Vedanta means the culmination of Vedic wisdom. Bachelor of Arts or B.A. Sanskrit - Vedanta program is systematically designed to develop knowledge and awareness in Vedanta philosophy and rather it is an umbrella term for many sub traditions, and this particular tradition has had a historic and central influence on Hinduism.
