Tamil is an oldest Dravidian language and it is the official language of Indian state Tamil Nadu and the union territory of Puducherry. Bachelor of Arts or B.A. in Tamil is a graduate course designed to teach various aspects of Tamil Language and Literature like Tamil Grammar, History of Tamil, and usage of Tamil etc. This course also helps to achieve good knowledge in history of Tamil Nadu and philosophy of Tamil language. The duration of the course is three years with six semesters.
