Music is the art and science of combining vocal or instrumental sounds or both such a way to produce beauty of form, harmony, and expression of emotions. Veena is an ancient string instrument of India. Veena is make from jack wood. The veena is said to be the only instrument that can play all the gamakas (oscillations) in Carnatic music. Bachelor of Arts or B.A. in Music-Veena is a three year graduate program with six semesters of study. This course is designed to provide knowledge in the development of swarajnana of the students through the study and to understand the preliminary lessons for sadhaka and basic knowledge in music theory. The course also provides practical skills and theoretical knowledge to students in music and veena.
