Bachelor of Science or B.Sc. in Biochemistry and Industrial Microbiology is a three-year graduate course with six semesters. This multidisciplinary science often needs students to acquire additional expertise in various subjects. Biochemistry is the branch of science deals with the study of chemical process within and related to living organisms. This branch of science is a combination of biology and chemistry that uses chemical methods and techniques to find, understand and solve biological problems. This program teaches various scientific aspects of life science and chemical science. The course provides sound knowledge in theoretical and practical aspects of biochemistry in order to understand the concepts of molecular genetics. Microbiology is a branch of biology deals with the study of all living organisms that is too small to be visible with the naked eye. This course imparts detailed lessons in the engineering and scientific principles of materials by microorganisms. Industrial microbiology is a branch of microbiology that applies microbial sciences to industrial applications especially for the study, analysis and products of microorganisms in large quantities. Students can acquire knowledge in laboratory safety and in routine microbiological laboratory skills. This program teaches the students both biochemistry and industrial microbiology with same importance.
