Bachelor of Science or B.Sc. in Environment and Water Management course comes under the discipline of chemistry and this is a three year graduate course with six semesters. This course is designed to acquire knowledge in the concepts, processes techniques and principles and to develop the ability to apply the principles in the field of environment and water management. The course also teaches the effects of physical, chemical, and biological conditions of the environment and water, and their effect on organisms. Students will get enough knowledge in water resources, hydrology, water quality, habitat conservation and creation, flood risk management and drainage water management. Students achieve skills and knowledge in sustainable development, ecological sustainability and environmental health, and in the control and movement of water resources to minimize damage to life and property and to maximize efficient beneficial use.
