Bachelor of Science or B.Sc. in Geography is an undergraduate program with an emphasis on Geography for three years with six semesters. Geography as an integrating discipline; as a science of spatial attributes. Geography is one of the oldest sciences in the world. The Ancient Greek philosopher Eratosthenes first established Geography as an individual science. Today Geography is an explanative science, which tries to apply all the information practically and help humankind to use and develop an in-depth understanding of the processes that created the physical world in these hands – on this course. The Geography is composed of two Greek words “Geo” meaning Earth and "Graphien" means to write. This course will prepare you for work in a range of fields, from economic development to environmental management, helps students to understand the importance of geography, and describes the nature of geography as a subject.
