Bachelor of Science or B.Sc. Hotel Management and Catering Science is a three year undergraduate program divided into six semesters, designed to teaches all the core operational and management aspects of hospitality and hotel industry including catering science. The basic objective of this hotel management and catering science program is to provide competent candidates with the necessary skills, knowledge, values, and attitudes to occupy key operational positions in the hotel and catering industry. This course has been designed to train students for assuming managerial roles in the principles and practices of hotel management, food production, catering science and is all about the techniques of managing a hotel or hospitality business including marketing, hotel administration, catering management, housekeeping, and accounts etc. This curriculum will provide the students with relevant professional knowledge and also develop in them the capacity to tackle unknown problems and help them to acquire sound professional ethics and an awareness of their obligations to society.
