Bachelor of Science or B.Sc. in Nursing is a four year professional course comes under the branch of medical science is intended to offer training to students with knowledge and skills in different nursing procedures and techniques including geriatric nursing, palliative nursing, community health nursing, clinical nursing, medical and surgical nursing, gynecological nursing etc. Nursing students are trained to take care of individuals, families, and communities so they may attain, maintain, or recover optimal health and life. This eight-semester course provides enough knowledge to students in topics like physical, biological, behavioral and medical science; this will helps students to provide better nursing care to individuals, families and communities. Students who study this course can achieve ability in the promotion of health, prevention of illness, the care of ill, disables and dying people, promotion of a safe environment, participation in shaping health policy and in patient and health systems managements etc.
