Chemistry is a branch of science, which deals with the study of the properties, composition and structure of substances. It involves the study of elements and compounds composed of atoms, molecules and ions; their composition, structure, properties, behavior and the changes they undergo, it teaches the reactions between substances and the energy that released or absorbed during these processes. Polymer Chemistry teaches the synthesis, characterization and properties of polymer molecules or macro-molecules. Polymer molecules are composed of many smaller chemical units. Bachelor of Science or B.Sc. in Polymer Chemistry is a six-semester undergraduate program with three years of study. The course designed to teach the basic concepts, preparation methods and processing techniques of polymers and its importance in the present society. The program teaches the various techniques and methods of polymer chemistry, explains a broad spectrum of modern trends in polymer chemistry, and helps the students to develop experimental, observational and computational skills.
