Bachelor of Science or B.Sc. in Zoology (Aquaculture) is a graduate program in the discipline of biology with a span of three years of study. This six semester program teaches zoology with specialization in aquaculture subjects. Zoology is the branch of biology that studies the animal kingdom and animal life in general. Zoology subjects encompass all aspects of scientific knowledge about animals, like embryonic development, evolution, behavior, ecological distribution, and classification. Aquaculture is the science of cultivating aquatic organisms especially for human consumption and it is also known as aqua farming. Aquaculture involves the process of rearing, breeding and harvesting of aquatic species, both animals and plants, in controlled aquatic environments.
