B.Tech or Bachelor of Technology in Automobile Engineering is a four-year professional undergraduate engineering program. The term automobile or automotive stands for a vehicle which can be moved by itself i.e. an automobile is a self-propelled vehicle. A vehicle producing power within itself for its propulsion is known as a self-propelled vehicle. Automobile Engineering is the branch of engineering that deals with the various aspects related to automobile including the design, development, manufacturing, testing, repair and service. This research-intensive program teaches the direct application of mathematical models and formulas to the automobile engineering. The program also help the students to acquire good knowledge in various aspects of automobile engineering including designing, development, fabrication, and testing of vehicles or vehicle components from the concept stage to production stage.
