Biomedical Engineering is a branch of engineering that deals with the application of engineering principles, design concepts and problem solving techniques of engineering to biology and medical science for healthcare treatment, diagnosis, monitoring, therapy etc. B.Tech or Bachelor of Technology in Biomedical Engineering is a four-year professional undergraduate engineering program designed to teach how to improve human health through cross-disciplinary activities that integrate the engineering sciences with the biomedical sciences and clinical practice. This eight semester program help students to acquire knowledge and understanding of living systems through the innovative and substantive application of experimental and analytical techniques based on the engineering sciences. The program also helps students to understand how to improve medical practice and health care delivery by developing new devices, algorithms, processes and systems.
