B.Tech or Bachelor of Technology in Electrical and Electronics Engineering is a four-year professional undergraduate engineering program with eight semesters of study. Electrical Engineering is defined as the technology which deals with the research, design, development and testing of devices and systems which uses the electrical energy for performing work. Whereas electronics is concerned with the design of circuits using transistors and microchips, and with the behavior and movement of electrons in a semiconductor, conductor, vacuum, or gas. This branch of engineering teaches the theoretical and practical principles and applications of electricity in all its forms, including those of the field of electronics. This program help the students to achieve the ability to identify, formulate and solve problems of electrical and electronics systems and can acquire knowledge in modern worldwide techniques and methods used in electrical and electronics engineering.
