B.Tech or Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering is a four-year professional undergraduate engineering program formulated to teach the application of the principles of engineering, physics, and material science for the design, analysis, manufacturing, and maintenance of mechanical systems. Mechanical Engineering is one of the oldest and broadest engineering disciplines that encompasses the generation and application of heat and mechanical power and the design, production, and use of machines. Main objective of Mechanical Engineering is to produce goods and services for benefit to humankind. This eight-semester program teaches the various aspects of the design, production, and operation of machineries and teaches about various machines, parts or apparatus that uses or applies mechanical power, transforms or transmits force or motion for a specific purpose.
