B.Tech Safety & Fire Engineering

Eligibility: Plus two or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics
Course Level : Undergraduate (UG)
Duration : 4 Years
Description :

B.Tech or Bachelor of Technology in Safety and Fire Engineering is a four-year professional undergraduate engineering program designed to provide in-depth knowledge of safety and fire engineering techniques. Safety engineering is a field of engineering that deals with accident prevention, reducing the risks associated with human error, and assures engineered systems provide acceptable levels of safety. Fire engineering is a specialized branch of engineering deals the application of science and engineering principles to protect people, property, and their environments from the harmful and destructive effects of fire and smoke. The program help students to understand the use of computer models, prototypes, or recreations of situations to assess the hazards and risks. This eight-semester program provides knowledge in various topics including the designing and development of fire-resistant equipment and plants, control measures, design and development of safety products and systems etc.
