Anthropology is the systematic and holistic study of humankind. It is the study of human societies and cultures and their development. Anthropology teaches the different aspects of humankind including the human evolutionary history, how they behave, adapt to different environments, communicate and socialize with one another. Master of Arts or M.A. in Anthropology is a two year postgraduate course designed to deepen the knowledge in human origins, human variation, human nature and human creations, blending the biological and cultural facts and perspectives. This course teaches anthropology from biological as well as social-cultural perspectives.
