Cinematography is the art, science and craft of making and creating motion pictures and movies by capturing visual images or scenes. Cinematography includes lot of screen visual elements like lighting, framing, composition, camera motion, camera angles, film selection, lens choices, depth of field and many more. Cinematographer is the director of photography and who is responsible for all photography related activities like creating the look, color, lighting and framing of every single shot in a film. Master of Arts or M.A. in Cinematography is a two year postgraduate course intended to prepare students to work as a professional in the motion picture industry. This program is designed in such a manner to help the students to become artists in Cinematography incorporating all the modern technical skills in image creation.
