English is first spoken in early medieval England and it is a West Germanic language of the Indo-European language family. It became the leading language of international discourse in the 21st century. English is the dominant language of United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Ireland, New Zealand and many more countries. Master of Arts or M.A. in English is a two year postgraduate course with four semesters of study. The aim of the course is to teach English language and literature, Grammar, Poetry, Drama, Novels, and English Communication, and also to understand the cultural and social aspects of English literature.
