Master of Arts or M.A. in Gandhian Studies is a postgraduate course designed to teach the different aspects of Gandhi's life, work and thought. Gandhian Studies is a branch of social science to propagate socio-political ideas, life and thought of Mahatma Gandhi. The life and teachings of Mahatma Gandhi have lasting impact on humanity. This two year program teaches the values and ideals of Gandhi and make the students better acquainted with his thought and be enthused to take up research on Gandhi. The course provides knowledge on the political and economic ideas of Gandhi, Panchayati Raj and Rural Development and other issues which were dear to Mahatma Gandhi.
