Master of Arts or M.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication is a two year postgraduate course designed to deepen the knowledge of students in different aspects of Journalism and Mass Communication. Journalism is the production and distribution of news and other information. Communication is referred as the imparting or exchanging of information by speaking, writing, or using some other medium. Mass communication is the process of communicating to or with a large audience through some different types of medium. This four semester postgraduate course is designed to deepen the theoretical and practical aspects of journalism and mass communication, and to provide technical skills in the field of journalism and mass communication through practical studies. The course will helps students to improve their knowledge in how to create, deliver and present contents in a variety of different medias and thus to create skilled journalists.
