Kathakali Sangeetham is the music belongs to sopana sangeetham category which is slow, strictly adhering to tala or rhythm and is central to a Kathakali performance. During the performance of kathakali the performer’s acting, expressions and body movements are strictly adhere to kathakali sangeetham. Master of Arts or M.A. in Kathakali Sangeetham is a postgraduate program with two years of study.
