Philosophy is defined as the study which trying to find answers to general and fundamental problems and questions connected with reality, existence, knowledge, values, reason, mind and language etc. Philosophy is the systematic and critical study of fundamental questions that arise both in everyday life and through the practice of other disciplines. Quite literally, the term "philosophy" means, "love of wisdom." Master of Arts or M.A. in Philosophy is a two year postgraduate course with four semesters of study. This postgraduate program is designed to teach and train the students to read and think critically, analyze and assess arguments, discern hidden assumptions, construct logically tight arguments, and express themselves clearly and precisely in both speech and writing.
