Master of Arts or M.A. in Politics and Human Rights is a two year postgraduate course with four semesters of study. Politics is the affairs, issues and activities of, and in a country, state, government or organizations, it is always related to decision making, power or administration related, or distribution of resources related. It is the issues, problems and political activities which are actually taking place in society. The term “politics” derives from the Greek word “Politika,” which literally means “affairs of the cities”. Human rights are rights inherent to all human beings, regardless of race, sex, nationality, ethnicity, language, religion, or any other status. It includes the right to life and liberty, freedom from slavery and torture, freedom of opinion and expression, the right to work and education, and many more. This postgraduate program provides excellent and wide knowledge in different aspects of political activities and human right issues.
