Sanskrit is one of the oldest languages belonging to the Indo-Aryan branch of the Indo-European languages and this classical language is one of the twenty two official languages of India. Master of Arts or M.A. in Sanskrit - Sahithya is a two year postgraduate program in Sanskrit specialized in sahithya. This course deals with the study of Sanskrit literature works that are especially well written. It includes the study of prose fiction, drama, poetry etc. This course is systematically designed to develop good knowledge and awareness in Sanskrit especially in Sanskrit Sahithya.
