Master of Business Administration (MBA) is a two year postgraduate course designed to provide a deep understanding of business oriented concepts. Business administration is the process of administrating a commercial organization by utilization the manpower and other resources effectively to achieve the goals and objectives of the organization. The course is designed to provide in-depth knowledge of a wide-range of aspects related to business operations. This four semester program provides knowledge and skills on different aspects of the administration of a business concern and also the students can develop practical, managerial and communication skills, and business decision-making capability. The course prepares the candidates with knowledge, skills, and strategic perspectives essential for business leadership. In this course the students have the option to select a particular functional area and can specialize their studies in that particular functional area. Finance, Marketing, Human Resources Management, Operations Management, International Business, Information Systems etc are the major electives in MBA.
