Applied art is referred as the application of art to design, develop and create objects and ideas that are both useful and beautiful. Applied Art combines aesthetics, design, consumer need, and finding practical solutions to problems. It focuses more on the aspect of utility of art along with aesthetics. The applied arts are very distinct from fine arts, which are those that produce objects with no practical use. Master of Fine Arts - Applied Arts is a two year postgraduate course which will helps students to deepen their knowledge in various aspects of applied arts. This four semester course also helps students to improve their knowledge to develop creative, original and innovative vision in art and design and also helps to acquire adequate knowledge and skills to address the many visual related issues of the society.
