Master of Laws (LL.M) in Intellectual Property Rights and Human Rights is a two year master’s degree program in the field of law. LL.M is also known as Magister Legum or Legum Magister. Intellectual property rights are legal rights formed with the aim to protect the original intellectual creations such as inventions, the appearance of products, literary, artistic, scientific developments and so on. Human right laws are the set of laws designed to define, protect and promote human rights on social, regional and domestic levels. Human rights are rights inherent to all human beings, regardless of race, sex, nationality, ethnicity, language, religion or any other status. It includes the right to life and liberty, freedom from slavery and torture, freedom of opinion and expression, the right to work and education, and many more. This program helps to enhance the competency of lawyers, law persons and researchers in Intellectual Property Rights and Human Rights.
