Library Science deals with the study of the methods, principles, techniques and practices of library operation and administration. This multidisciplinary field applies methods, perspectives and tools of management, information technology, education, science and other areas to different library operations and administration. Information Science is referred as the process of collection, classification and storing, retrieving and protecting information. Master of Library and Information Sciences-Integrated is a two year postgraduate program with four semesters of study and this is an integrated program in which students with graduate in any subject can directly admit to this program. This course helps students to identify, select and provide access to information in a variety of formats in the least amount of time with as little effort as possible. The students can achieve an in-depth knowledge in the area of library and information sciences, concepts and approaches and also can acquire necessary competencies by practicing various, methods and approaches in library and information sciences.
