Social work is helping individuals, groups and communities to enhance their individual and collective well-being by using social sciences, sociology, psychology, political science, public health, community development, law and economics to solve their problems. Master of Social Work (MSW) – Medical and Psychiatry is a two year postgraduate program designed to provide knowledge, values and skills to students to become a successful social worker with specialization in Medical and Psychiatry. Psychiatry involves the study, diagnosis and treatment of mental health disorders. This four semester program teaches every aspects of social work, and prepares and train students to become excellent professional in social work.
