Commerce is defined as the buying and selling of goods or services, especially on a large scale. Commerce includes all those activities, which directly or indirectly facilitate the distribution aspect of the goods or services included in trade or business. Management is the coordination, control and administration of task involved in an organization to achieve desired goals. This involves the act of allocating resources to accomplish desired goals and objectives efficiently and effectively by performing budget analysis in order to find out ways that the organization can cut costs. Information Technology (IT) is the storing, retrieving, transmitting or manipulating data or information with the use of computer or other digital devices. Master of Commerce or M.Com with Management and Information Technology is a two year postgraduate course with four semesters of study. This program helps students to develop knowledge in the field of business, commerce, industry and management and equip them to develop necessary analytical and managerial skills. And also the students can study electronically based techniques for information gathering, fast processing of information, distribution, systematic storage and management of information with adequate securities that are essential for data retrieval and processing.
