Statistics is the branch of science with deals with the collection, organization, analysis, interpretation, and presentation of data in large quantities. Bio-Statistics is the application of statistical methods and techniques to a wide range of topics in biology. Most commonly it is applied to the medical and public health research. Bio-Statistics includes the biological experiments, the collection of data, summarization, and analysis of data from those experiments. Master of Science or M.Sc. in Bio-Statistics is a postgraduate program with two years of study. This four semester program helps students to acquire the methods and methodologies for arriving at valid and logical conclusions to whatever biological problems under consideration. The students can acquire specialist knowledge in the field and transferable skills and experience such as project management and leadership.
