Master of Science or M.Sc. in Biomaterial and Tissue Engineering is a two year postgraduate course with four semesters. Biomaterial refers to any matter, surface, or construct that interacts with biological systems. It may be natural or synthetic materials made in the laboratory using metallic components, polymers, ceramics or composite materials. Medical devices made of biomaterials are often used to replace or augment a natural function. Interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary fields that aim at the development of biological substitutes that restore, maintain, or improve tissue function. This course provides a sound knowledge in Biomaterial and Tissue Engineering which will help the students to become an excellent professional in the field.
