M.Sc. Bionanotechnology

Eligibility: Graduation in Biological Science/Physical Science/Food Science or Technology/Biomedical Engineering/Nanotechnology/MLT/MBBS/BAMS or equivalent
Course Level : Postgraduate (PG)
Duration : 2 Years
Description :

Master of Science or M.Sc. in Bionanotechnology is a two year postgraduate program with four semesters of study. Bionanotechnology is defined as the incorporation of biological molecules into nanotechnology. Bionanotechnology is the study of biology, in particular biological molecules, and the application of biological building blocks to solve engineering challenges and create new areas of technological development especially in the field of nanotechnology. This course is designed to provide a firm foundation in bionanotechnology and to explain the importance of biological components in the field of nanotechnolohy. The program also helps the students to understand the nano-structures existing in nature at cellular and molecular level.

Main Subjects to Be Studied

  • Structure of Cells, Antibodies, Carbohydrates
  • Nucleotides, Nucleic Acids & DNA
