Cyber Forensics is the process of extracting information and data from computers, digital devices, networking devices and other cyber places and platforms while investigating a cyber crime. The extracted information and data are then analyzed with the aim of identifying, preserving, recovering and presenting facts and findings. Master of Science or M.Sc. in Cyber Forensics is a two year postgraduate course with four semesters of study. The goal of computer forensics is to examine digital media in a forensically sound manner with the aim of identifying, preserving, recovering, analyzing and presenting facts and opinions about the digital information. This program is designed to increase student’s skill in information/network security, intrusion prevention and detection, and forensic analysis of compromised systems and to make efficient in documentation pertaining to cyber forensic analysis.
