Environmental Science is an interdisciplinary field that deals with the study of the interactions between the physical, chemical, and biological components of nature. Master of Science or M.Sc. in Environment Science is a two year postgraduate program with four semesters of study. This course is designed to acquire knowledge in the concepts, processes techniques and principles and to develop the ability to apply the principles in the field of environmental science. Environment science is a multidisciplinary science; it involves a number of disciplines like geology, hydrology, soil sciences, plant physiology, and ecology. The course also teaches the effects of physical, chemical, and biological conditions of the environmental science and their effect on organisms. This course teaches and provides training to students to develop them a balanced and skillful professional who can contribute actively to the field of environmental science by applying the concepts, tools and techniques for environmental protection, conservation and sustainability.
