Genomics is defined as the study of genes and their functions, and related techniques. This interdisciplinary field of biology includes the study of all of a person’s genes like its structure, function, mapping, gene editing, gene interactions etc. Proteome is the set of proteins produced or modified by an organism or system, and proteomics is the large scale study of proteomes. Master of Science or M.Sc. in Genomics and Proteomics is a postgraduate course comes under the discipline of biology that deals with the study of Genomics and Proteomics. This two year postgraduate program is composed of four semesters. This course provides deep knowledge in genomics and proteomics and also the students can acquire technical and practical know-how in the field of genomics and proteomics.
