M.Sc. Industrial Chemistry

Eligibility: Graduation in Chemistry/Petrochemicals or equivalent
Course Level : Postgraduate (PG)
Duration : 2 Years
Description :

Chemistry deals with the properties, composition, structure of substances and the transformations they undergo, and the energy that is released or absorbed during these processes. Industrial Chemistry is the branch of chemistry which deals with the application of chemistry for industrial purposes. This is concerned with using chemical and physical processes to transform raw materials into products. Master of Science or M.Sc. in Industrial Chemistry is a four semester postgraduate program with two years of study. The course is designed to increase the knowledge in the concepts, processes, techniques, facts and principles of industrial chemistry and also to deepen the ability to read, understand and interpret chemical information. This postgraduate program also explains a broad spectrum of modern trends in industrial chemistry and also helps the students to develop experimental, observational and computational skills.
