M.Sc. Inorganic Chemistry

Eligibility: Graduation in Chemistry/Petrochemicals or equivalent
Course Level : Postgraduate (PG)
Duration : 2 Years
Description :

Chemistry is a branch of science which deals with the study of the properties, composition and structure of substances. It involves the study of elements and compounds composed of atoms, molecules and ions; their composition, structure, properties, behavior and the changes they undergo, also it teaches the reactions between substances and the energy that is released or absorbed during these processes. Inorganic Chemistry is a branch of chemistry which deals with the study of substance without carbon, or all the elements on the periodic table except carbon. Master of Science or M.Sc. in Inorganic Chemistry is a four semester program with two years of study. The course is designed to increase the knowledge in the concepts, processes techniques, facts and principles of inorganic chemistry and also to deepen the ability to read, understand and interpret inorganic chemical information. The program teaches every aspects of inorganic chemistry and explains a broad spectrum of modern trends in inorganic chemistry and also helps the students to develop experimental, observational and computational skills.
