Master of Science or M.Sc. in Mathematics is a two year postgraduate program designed to deepen the knowledge in the logic of shape, quantity, arrangement, and structure etc, called mathematics. This four semester course is designed to make learning mathematics meaningful and an enjoyable activity by providing a more complete and logic frame work in almost all areas of mathematics. Mathematics is the abstract science of number, quantity, and space, and if it is applied to other disciplines such as physics and engineering then it is called as applied mathematics. Students can improve a broad and balanced knowledge and understanding of definitions, concepts, principles and mathematical theorems and can also increase their knowledge in the tools of mathematical analysis to handle issues and problems in mathematics and related sciences. The students can also deepen their knowledge in proof techniques and know how to apply the laws of logic in mathematics.
