Toxicology is defined as the Science of poisons. More descriptive definition of toxicology is “the study of the adverse effects of chemical, physical, or biological agents on living organisms and the ecosystem, including the prevention and amelioration of such adverse effects”. Master of Science or M.Sc. in Toxicology is a two year postgraduate program with four semesters of study. The course is designed to provide knowledge in the concepts, processes techniques, facts and principles of toxicology. This program helps students to acquire in-depth knowledge in relevant experimental methods within the field of toxicology, including the theoretical background, implementation, applications and limitations of the methods, as well as considerably deeper knowledge of experimental methods within certain areas of the field of toxicology.
